Poster Protect — Now Included With Every All-in-One California & Federal Poster
Employment laws can change at any time, and both California and federal law require you to keep your posted notices current. Mid-year updates are not unusual in California, and posting an outdated notice can expose your business to significant fines.
That's why Poster Protect is now INCLUDED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE with every CalChamber California and Federal Labor Law poster purchase. There's no separate coverage option to select and nothing extra to pay — every poster you buy from us is protected.
How Poster Protect works
If a notice printed on your poster is updated because of a substantive change to the underlying legal requirements or employee rights or even a ministerial change like a phone number, CalChamber will email all customers that purchased a poster, a PDF overlay of the affected notice or language at no charge. Simply print the overlay and place it over the outdated notice or language on your existing poster. It must be overlaid and not placed next to the poster to ensure legal compliance.
Prefer a brand-new poster?
If a poster update occurs on or before September 1 of the poster's edition year, you may request a fully updated physical poster instead of applying the overlay, for only the cost of shipping and handling — there's no charge for the poster itself. For updates issued after September 1, the PDF overlay is provided at no charge, but replacement posters are not available, as the next annual edition will be released shortly thereafter for purchase. To request a replacement poster, contact customer.service@calchamber.com.
Coverage period and scope
Poster Protect coverage begins on the date of your poster purchase and continues through the end of your poster's edition year. At this time, Poster Protect is included with CalChamber’s all-in-one California and Federal Labor Law poster.
Purchases under prior terms
These terms apply to poster purchases made on or after October 1, 2026. If you purchased Poster Protect as a separate paid add-on under our prior terms, the terms in effect at the time of that purchase continue to govern your coverage.
