East Palo Alto Minimum Wage

Note: Employers who fail to comply with East Palo Alto posting requirements and local employment laws may be subject to administrative citations, penalties and civil actions.

Covered Employers/Employees

All employers who are subject to the East Palo Alto Business License Tax OR who maintain a facility in East Palo Alto must pay the City of East Palo Alto’s local minimum wage rate for each hour worked to any employee who works at least two (2) hours in one calendar week within the geographic boundaries of the City.

Posting Specifics

Employers must post the minimum wage notice in a conspicuous place at all locations where employees work.
