Note: Employers who fail to comply with San Jose posting requirements and local employment laws may be subject to administrative citations, penalties and civil actions.

Required Employer Postings for the City of San Jose

1. San Jose Minimum Wage Poster (All Employers)
   
   The San Jose Minimum Wage Ordinance applies to all employers who maintain a facility in San Jose or who are subject to the city business license tax.
   
   CalChamber’s 17" x 23" poster (English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese combined) contains the official notice from the City of San Jose Office of Equality Assurance.

Posters are in English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese. Covered employers must display required posters wherever employees can easily read them.

Posting Specifics

Employers must post the notices in all languages spoken by five (5) percent or more of the employees at each location or jobsite.

Poster Protect^® coverage is not available for city and county posters.
