Covered Employers/Employees

All employers, regardless of where they are located, with employees who perform at least two (2) hours of work in a particular week within the geographic boundaries of the City of Santa Monica.

Required Notices

CalChamber’s 15.5” x 22” Santa Monica Labor Law Poster (English and Spanish combined) contains these official employment notices required by City of Santa Monica ordinances:

• Santa Monica Minimum Wage Notice
• Santa Monica Paid Sick Leave Notice

Every employer must post Santa Monica’s minimum wage and paid sick leave notices in a conspicuous place at any workplace or jobsite where any employee works.

Posting Specifics

Employers must post this notice in English, Spanish and any language spoken by at least 5 percent of employees.
